Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Rad Media Holdings Ltd (“RAD Media”) uses cookies and similar technologies on radmedia.com (the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site’s owners.
We also use similar technologies such as local storage and server-side edge logs, all of which we refer to collectively as “cookies” in this policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Essential for the Site to function. They include the cookie that records your consent choice, and cookies set by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the Site securely and reliably. These cookies do not require your consent.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting and reporting information in an aggregated form. We use this information to improve the Site and our editorial output. These cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner.
We do not currently use functional, marketing or advertising cookies on the Site.
3. Specific cookies and storage we use
The following table summarises what we set on the Site:
- radmedia.consent (localStorage) — RAD Media. Strictly necessary. Records whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so the banner doesn’t reappear on every page-load. Duration: until you clear it from your browser, or use the “Cookie settings” link below.
- __cf_bm, cf_clearance — Cloudflare. Strictly necessary. Used for bot management and security. Duration: 30 minutes to 30 days. See Cloudflare’s cookie reference for full details.
- _ga, _ga_<property-id> — Google Analytics 4. Analytics. Used to distinguish unique users and sessions. Duration: up to 13 months. Only set if you accept analytics cookies.
4. Third-party content and embeds
The Site loads webfonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com
and fonts.gstatic.com). These requests do not set cookies in
your browser, but your IP address is sent to Google in order to deliver
the font files. Google’s use of this data is governed by their own
privacy policy. Any other third-party content embedded on the Site
(such as videos) may set its own cookies, governed by the respective
third party’s policy.
5. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner asks you to accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time:
- Reopen the cookie banner to update your choice.
- Use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site functions.
Most browsers offer guidance on managing cookies:
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will indicate when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes to the cookies we use will be reflected in the cookie banner so you can re-confirm your preferences.
