Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 April 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Rad Media Holdings Ltd (“RAD Media”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit radmedia.com (the “Site”).

This policy covers radmedia.com only. The brands featured on this Site — Culted, XO, Rad Studio and Know Your Fashion — operate as separate businesses with their own privacy notices, which apply when you visit their respective websites.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. Who we are

The data controller for this Site is Rad Media Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15203187, with its registered office at 132–140 Goswell Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 7DY.

For any privacy-related queries, please contact us at contact@radmedia.com.

2. Information we collect

The Site does not contain any forms, newsletter sign-ups or accounts. We do not ask you for, or knowingly collect, your name, email address or other contact details directly through the Site.

We do, however, collect a limited amount of personal data automatically when you visit:

  • Technical data — your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed and approximate location, collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security, abuse prevention and reliable delivery of the Site.
  • Analytics data — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how you interact with the Site, including pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (country / region), device type and a randomised identifier stored in cookies. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.
  • Contact data — if you choose to email us at the addresses listed on the Site, we will receive the information in your message (typically your name, email address and the contents of your enquiry).

We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or health information) through this Site.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries you send us by email.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site (including detecting and preventing abuse, bots and security incidents).
  • With your consent, to measure and understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve our content and editorial output.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Lawful basis for processing

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve the Site, and to respond to email enquiries you choose to send us.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, including analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or by clearing the consent cookie in your browser settings.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process your data to comply with applicable law.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies on the Site. For full details of the cookies we set, the third parties involved and how to manage your preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.

6. Sharing your information & processors

We do not sell your personal information. We rely on the following third-party processors to deliver the Site:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery and security (edge logs may include IP addresses and request metadata).
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — analytics, loaded only with your consent.
  • Google LLC (Google Search Console) — aggregate search-performance data; does not set cookies on visitors.
  • Google LLC (Google Fonts) — webfont delivery; visitor IP addresses are sent to Google when fonts are requested.

We may also share personal information with professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors) where reasonably required, or with regulators and authorities where we are required to do so by law.

7. International transfers

Some of our processors (notably Cloudflare and Google) are based outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to jurisdictions benefiting from a UK adequacy decision.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Email correspondence — retained for as long as reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry, and typically deleted within 24 months unless a longer period is required by law or to protect our legitimate interests.
  • Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for the period set in our GA4 property (up to 14 months) and then deleted automatically.
  • Edge logs — retained by Cloudflare in line with their standard retention periods.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data (in certain circumstances).
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your personal data.
  • Request portability of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, please email contact@radmedia.com. We aim to respond within one month, in line with UK GDPR requirements.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss, including HTTPS encryption, hardened hosting and principle-of- least-privilege access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The Site is a B2B / industry-facing site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date above will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.

13. Contact us

For any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, please contact us at contact@radmedia.com or write to us at 132–140 Goswell Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 7DY.
